If you were at our big open meeting yesterday, thanks so much for coming out! It was amazing to share with you all and the input from the 15 folks who came was invaluable!
It’s true that we are still running the indiegogo Tool Lending Library fundraising campaign, and even with winning $10,000 through a competitive grant, we still really need your help to make it the final 27% of the way and fully fund a solid inventory that will make significant impact in Indy and amplify the work of you and your neighbors.
But! We still want to continue to share the love, as one of our biggest values is reciprocity and paying it forward. SO, check out this opportunity we learned aboutfrom our good friend Todd Fuqua:
Subject: Calling artists: coloring book for adults, to benefit Trusted Mentors
My friends at Trusted Mentors are compiling an Adults? Coloring Book centered on theme of HOPE.
They’re looking for artists willing to create 1 or 2 adults? coloring pages (standard 8 x 11 size). For a donation, Trusted Mentors will give the coloring book to donors.
Can you help? I’m going to participate and I thought it would be cool and fun to have you involved too. 🙂
Their target completion date is November 15th so that we can have it available during National Homelessness Awareness Week, November 16-22nd.
For now, please email [email protected]if interested.
If you are in, please provide via email by Nov 15:
One paragraph artist bio
One or two coloring book drawings (standard 8-1/2? x 11?) scan or PDF.

Trusted Mentors is an awesome, much needed Indianapolis based non-profit that matches trained volunteer mentors with adults who are leaving homelessness, prison or aging out of foster care. These mentors provide a supportive, positive role model that helps adults make the changes needed to succeed. In 2014, 95% of the mentored adults remained housed. You can find more information at www.trustedmentors.org
